          once, EVERYONE had been kind to her. her world had been all bright grins & light laughs – believe it or not, she had once been happy ( or at least HAPPIER. ) ——& then the war. the war and the mirror and the years upon years upon years of LONELINESS, biting-cold years she spent FROZEN IN TIME, waiting for something that would likely NEVER HAPPEN. 

          so when someone had picked that mirror up & smiled into its silver surface, had laughed & let her laugh back, joked with her, spoke to her, FREED HER – well, it’s no wonder she’d do anything for him.
