          they aren’t two gems who trust one another – but it was so odd to see ruby and not garnet, so odd she’d had to ask something. perhaps a conversation was GOOD for her ;; she hadn’t properly talked to another gem in quite a long time. she gives the smile back, as best she can. ( anger is hard to hold, and sometimes it wanes – she’s as moody as the sea. )
